11+ Devon
In Devon, children will have exams in different subjects depending on which school they apply to. The exam boards used are GL Assessment, Quest Assessments and Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE).
The grammar schools in Torquay and Brixham are part of the Torbay Selective Schools consortium. The consortium administers common 11+ tests across each of the schools meaning children only have to sit one test in order to apply to any of the four schools.
The two girls' grammar schools in Plymouth operate the same 11+ tests so girls only have to sit tests once even if applying for both schools.
